Incidents in Stockport town centre

Good evening,

Stockport town centre policing team have had a busy day and dealt with a number of incidents including:

A group of youths were seen by an officer on cycle patrol smoking cannabis near to Stockport Bus Interchange. The drugs were seized and the youths were dealt with accordingly.

A male has committed a criminal damage at a town centre store, when he was confronted by a member of staff he committed a further common assault to this person. This male has now been identified and will be dealt with at a later date.

A youth was seen by cctv operators damaging one of the new benches on Merseyway. He was seen defacing the bench with permanent graffiti. This male was detained and is being dealt with. 

Officers have been dealing with an ongoing neighbour dispute.
